Application Specialists assist medical practices in their adoption and ongoing use of the EncounterPRO electronic health record system. The best candidates will have strong technical and customer service skills with several years of experience in the healthcare industry as well as experience in training/education.
Application Specialist Technical Support
Job Qualifications
Strong technical skills involving MS SQL Server, database manipulation and management, query/stored procedure writing, client-server relationships, MS Windows, and HL-7 are desired. Customer service skills involving discovering the root of an issue, understanding issue from customer’s perspective, communicating clear expectations and steps, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and following-through on commitments are needed. On-site and remote end-user support experience is a plus. Previous experience with an electronic health record system is preferred but not required. Atlanta area applicants only.
Job Description
Provide telephone and remote technical support to end-users of electronic health record software. Identify, research, troubleshoot, document, and resolve reported issues. Manage issues to insure timely resolution and appropriate prioritization. Perform remote software upgrades and assist in product deployment. Weekend scheduling may be necessary.

Job Description
Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for clients who are mostly doctors and clinical staff. Provide ongoing support for these clients, test new applications, and create training materials. Experienced Specialists will assist clients with advanced configuration of the application and consult on business practices. 50% - 70% travel could be required.
